After a month of trying my hardest to do every single thing that all those “how to self-publish” blogs tell you to do, I can honestly say that I feel like I’ve had embarrassingly little success for what all I did. I contacted bookstores. I purchased ads. I organized giveaways. I worked with book blogs and book facebook pages. In the end, I’ve sold embarrassingly few books and received absolutely zero reviews. It’s incredibly disheartening. I thought this was going to be a positive blog post, that it would be lighthearted and happy and maybe even inspiring to read. I’m sorry to say that it’s not.
